Did you know that Portland Oregon is one of the top dog friendly cities in the nation? All of the cities selected were in the West. Why the West? More room for Rover to rove, for one thing. Many of the cities had lots of dog parks -- places where an entire park, or part of it, is set aside for dogs to run free. Portland was deemed park heaven because it has more dog parks per resident.
